Our mission
Many Indian families sign an education loan without seeing the full picture: the interest that builds up during the course, the EMI that follows, and how heavy that EMI feels against a first salary. Our mission is to show the real cost and repayment weight of a study abroad loan before families borrow.
Who runs it
StudyLoanReality is an independent project run by Abdul Kadir in New Delhi, India. It is not part of any bank, NBFC, loan agent or consultancy.
What we do
- A loan calculator that shows EMI, total repayment and repayment stress under different job scenarios.
- A country cost view that separates living funds from tuition estimates.
- A plain English loan guide with a documents checklist and the words lenders use.
What we do not do
- We are not a lender, loan agent, DSA or financial adviser.
- We do not take loan applications, and we do not approve or arrange loans.
- No lender pays us today. Nothing on this site is a paid placement.
Our principles
- Show the maths. Every result can be traced back to a formula you can read.
- Date every number. Rates and costs show when they were last checked.
- Name our limits. Where we are unsure or still verifying, we say so.
- Fix mistakes in public. Corrections are logged on a public page.
