• Nothing you type into the calculator leaves your browser. It runs on your device.
• Checklist ticks stay in your browser's local storage on your device. We never see them.
• If you email us, we receive your email address and your message.
• Our hosting provider and basic traffic statistics may record technical data such as IP address, device type and pages visited, in aggregate.

Why we use it

• To reply to you when you write to us.
• To keep the site secure and working.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.

Legal basis

We process personal data with your consent (for example when you email us) and for legitimate uses permitted by law, such as keeping the site secure.

Sharing

• Hosting and email providers who process data for us, only to run this site.
• Authorities, when we are legally required to share.
• We do not sell personal data. We do not share it for advertising.

Retention

Emails are kept only as long as needed to answer you and for our records, and then deleted.

Future features

If we later add lender introductions or paid reports, we will ask for your explicit consent before collecting or sharing personal details, say exactly what is shared and with whom, and update this policy first.
